There is nothing wrong with playing secular songs in church-Stonebwoy

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has lambasted critics for saying that it is wrong to play secular songs in Church.

According to the 'Kpo k3k3' hitmaker, there is nothing wrong in playing secular songs in Church.

His reaction comes on the back of a video which showed members of a Church jamming and dancing to his hit song 'Kpo k3k3' song inside the Church's auditorium.

The video incurred the wrath of Ghanaians with many condemning the Church for soiling the 'holy grounds of God'.

Stonebwoy reacting to the hullabaloo surrounding the video indicated that there is nothing wrong and that the Church should be left alone.

“Nobody complains when gospel music is played in the pub or at the bar but when secular music that is popular among the people is played in the church people go haywire,” he said.

He continued:

“Leave the churches alone, the body of Christ is you and I. Let us not use the opportunity to express hate or ignorance towards the church or its people, Christians or people who have a certain belief and are open-minded as well.

“Remember that the body of Christ is actually not the temple sitting out there it’s you. The temple of God is the body you have…your body my body and only God knows what we do to our bodies on a daily basis.” he said.
