Rapper and Hiplife act, Emmanuel Botway, popularly known as Kwaw Kese, says he does not feel celebrated enough.
According to him, it is a norm for Ghanaians not to celebrate their own.
He made this revelation in a yet to be aired episode of E With Becks show on Joy prime.
He told hostess, Becky, that “I don’t feel celebrated. It’s the norm in Ghana. Ghanaians don’t celebrate Ghanaians doing well, they don’t celebrate their stars, and they don’t celebrate their celebrities.”
He added that he will not be deterred for not being celebrated by his people but would rather celebrate himself.
E With Becks show airs on Joy Prime on Sundays at 5 pm.

Italian film director Franco Zeffirelli has died aged 96, Italian media report.
The Florence native directed stars including Elizabeth Taylor in the 1967 film Taming of the Shrew and Dame Judi Dench on stage in Romeo and Juliet.
Italian media said Zeffirelli died after a long illness which had grown worse in recent months.
The two-time Oscar nominee also served in the Italian senate for two terms as a member of Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia party.
He is perhaps best known to many as the director of the 1968 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet – starring a then-unknown Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey.
It was viewed by generations of school students studying the Shakespearean drama.

The illegitimate son of a merchant, his mother gave him the surname "Zeffiretti" – meaning "little breezes" – which was misspelled on his birth certificate.
The original meaning came from a Mozart opera – and Zeffirelli would go on to become a prolific creator of opera himself, staging more than 120 in his career.
"Franco Zeffirelli, one of the world's greatest men of culture, passed away this morning," tweeted Dario Nardella, mayor of Florence. "Goodbye dear Maestro, Florence will never forget you."
Zeffirelli initially studied architecture, but said that after seeing Laurence Olivier's Henry V (1944), he was inspired to make a career in theatre.
In 1945, he started work as a set designer at Florence's Teatro della Pergola, and concentrated on theatre throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
At the Pope's request, in 1970 Zeffirelli staged "Missa solemnis" in honour of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's birth.
His first film was a Shakespeare adaptation, of The Taming of the Shrew. While initially intended to star two Italian actors, but was heavily funded by Hollywood couple Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor – who eventually assumed the two leading roles.
Another notable adaptation of the bard's plays would come in 1990s Hamlet – starring Mel Gibson in the title role, with Glenn Close and Helena Bonham Carter among the supporting cast.

Cutting the pay of stars and senior managers would only save a fraction of the cost of free TV licences for older people, the BBC has said.
The broadcaster has defended its decision to end universal free licences for over-75s because of the £745m cost.
In a letter to the Daily Telegraph, BBC director of policy Clare Sumner said the BBC could only save £25m if it kept all salaries at or below £150,000.
Up to 3.7 million pensioners stand to lose the free licence from next year.
Ms Pearson accused the broadcaster of having a "culture of ludicrously inflated salaries" and being "dangerously out of touch" with the public.
She called for cuts to the salaries of more than 100 senior staff earning over £150,000, as well as cutting the pay of stars and presenters.
According to the BBC annual review last year, among the highest-paid stars were Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker (£1,750,000-£1,759,999), chat show host Graham Norton (£600,000-£609,000) and Radio 2 presenter Steve Wright (£550,000-£559,999).
The top-earning female star was Claudia Winkleman, whose salary is estimated at £370,000-£379,999.
The total pay for on-air talent was £148m in 2017/2018.

But in her letter to the Daily Telegraph, Clare Sumner said: "Even if we stopped employing every presenter earning more than £150,000, that would save less than £20m.
"If no senior manager were paid over £150,000 that would save only £5m."
She said spending on senior managers' salaries has been cut by £38m since 2010 and 94% of the BBC's budget was spent directly on programmes and services.
The highest-paid senior manager is director general Tony Hall, with an annual salary of £450,000. In total, 94 executives earn more than £150,000, nine of whom are paid more than £250,000.
'Rising cost'
Providing free TV licences to over-75s who claim pension credit will cost the BBC about £250m by 2021-22, depending on take-up.
But continuing the universal scheme would cost £745m, a fifth of the BBC's budget and equivalent to the cost of BBC Two, BBC Four, the BBC News Channel, the BBC Scotland channel, Radio 5 Live and a number of local radio stations.
"If we had continued with the current scheme, its rising cost would have meant closures of services that we know older audiences, in particular, love, use and value every day," Ms Sumner said.
Free licences were first introduced by the Labour government in 2000.
In 2015, the Conservative government announced the BBC would take over the cost of providing free licences for over-75s by 2020 as part of the fee settlement.
More than 495,000 people have now signed an Age UK petition calling for the government to take back responsibility for funding free TV licences.

Saturday, July 6, 2017, will be exactly five years that Ghanaian hip-life musician Castro and a lady friend, Janet Bandu, disappeared while cruising a jet-ski on the Volta Lake at Ada.
Castro had followed his friend Asamoah Gyan to Ada for holidays when he went missing in the river, and a combined search team comprising the Ghana Navy, Marine Police, local fisherfolks and professional lifeguards could not find his body.

The Metropolitan Police has said it will take no further action over Jo Brand's comments on a radio show about throwing battery acid at politicians.
The comedian was accused of inciting violence after joking on BBC Radio 4's Heresy about throwing acid instead of milkshakes at "unpleasant characters".
Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage, who had milkshake thrown over him during the European election campaign in May, has accused Brand of inciting violence, although he did not say who against.
Writing on Twitter, he added: "I am sick to death of overpaid, left-wing, so-called comedians on the BBC who think their view is morally superior. Can you imagine the reaction if I had said the same thing as Jo Brand?"
In the episode of the Heresy broadcast on Tuesday, Brand told presenter Victoria Coren Mitchell that people who attacked "unpleasant figures" with milkshakes were "pathetic", adding: "Why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?"
The comic then went on to immediately make clear she was joking and criticised the milkshake stunts.
"I'm not going to do it," she said. "It's purely a fantasy, but I think milkshakes are pathetic, I honestly do, sorry."
Her follow-up comments were edited out of widely-shared clips on social media.
Ofcom said it received 65 complaints about the episode.

Appearing later at Henley Literary Festival, Brand said: "Looking back on it I think it was a somewhat crass and an ill-judged joke."
She added: "Nigel Farage tweeted the first bit that I said without the second bit when I apologised and said it was a joke and not something I would encourage.
"The current situation is I'm being chased around England and being asked if I feel I should apologise. I felt I apologised for it as I did it on the night. I'm a human being and people make mistakes. I apologise to all the people who I have offended."
The Sun said she added: "I don't think it's a mistake. If you think it is I'm happy to accept that.
"Female politicians and public figures are threatened day in, day out, with far worse things than battery acid... rape, murder and what have you.
"At least I'm here and trying to explain what I did. I don't think I have anyone to answer to. Nigel Farage wasn't even mentioned by me on the night so why he has taken it upon himself I don't know."

Mr Baddiel told BBC's Newsnight the broadcaster he did not think the BBC should have edited the joke out of a repeat of the programme.
He said: "I don't think I would have nipped it out. Morally wrong? I'm not sure. I think they're just trying not to cause trouble.
"If it was up to me, I would have kept that line in for the repeat. Apart from anything, it's a bit silly when it's had massive coverage to cut it out - that looks a bit cowardly."
The broadcaster said on Thursday it regretted any offence caused and that, although comedy "will always push boundaries", the programme was "never intended to encourage or condone violence".
In a statement released on Friday, the Met said: "Police received an allegation of incitement to violence on 13 June, relating to comments made on a radio programme.
"The referral has been considered by the MPS and no further police action will be taken in relation to this allegation."

Microsoft unveiled a surprise announcement during its E3 2019 press conference--after nearly eight years, beloved MMO Phantasy Star Online 2 will finally launch in the West. The news landed on the Xbox stage at this year's E3, but Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed the game will arrive on other platforms.
Spencer sat down with Giant Bomb co-founder Jeff Gerstmann to talk about the company's presence at E3 2019. The nearly 50-minute interview saw the two chat about the excitement surrounding the MMO's Western reveal. "I'm not trying to say this is because of me but I said [to Sega], 'You know, so many of the constructs in today's online console games were born in Phantasy Star and 90 percent of the gamers today don't know what a Phantasy Star Online is,'" Spencer told Gerstmann.
The Western Localization trailer revealed during E3 2019, above, announces that Phantasy Star Online 2 will finally make its way to North America. And while Spencer couldn't confirm whether the game will appear in other regions like Europe and the Middle East because "Sega's ultimately responsible for it," he did say the game isn't console exclusive. "Yes, it will end up on all platforms."
There's no specification on what "all platforms" means, and Gerstmann didn't press for clarification on this statement, but Spencer is certain the MMO will not just be exclusive to the Xbox family. Spencer "happens to have a soft spot" for Phantasy Star Online, believes "it can be a meaningful franchise," and is just excited to work with Sega again.
Phantasy Star Online 2 will arrive sometime in Spring 2020.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Country singer Kenny Rogers on Friday dismissed “wild misinformation and speculation” about his health and said he planned on “sticking around” for years to come.
A statement issued on his behalf by his representatives was published after a U.S. tabloid report claimed the “Lucille” singer had been diagnosed with bladder cancer and was dying.
Friday’s statement said Rogers, 80, was recently admitted to a hospital in Georgia and treated for dehydration.
“He will remain there to complete some physical therapy to get his strength back prior to discharge ... and can assure everyone he plans on sticking around through the years to come,” it added.
Rogers embarked on a world farewell tour in 2016 but in April 2018 he canceled the last few shows citing “a series of health challenges.”
Rogers, a three-time Grammy winner and a Country Music Hall of Famer, is best known for songs like “The Gambler” and his 1983 duet with Dolly Parton “Islands in the Stream.”
After beginning his career in the 1950s with a jazz group, Rogers went solo in the 1970s and released his break-through single “Lucille” in 1977.

According to information circulating on social media, the white lady who is having a kid has slept with Bisa Kdei, Gyptian, Patoranking, Christopher Martin among others.

Patekar has denied this account. "What does she mean by sexual harassment? We were on the set and there were 200 people sitting in front of us," he said in an interview to the news channel Mirror Now.
At least two women backed a part of her account via Twitter. But police in Mumbai said they had found no evidence to support the allegations and were, therefore, "unable to continue the investigation", according to the ANI news agency.

Dutta first made her allegations 10 years ago but they resurfaced in September 2018 as the #MeToo movement swept across the world.
When she was asked in an interview in 2018 why Bollywood had not had its #MeToo moment yet, her reply went viral. "How is any movement going to happen in India until and unless you acknowledge what happened to me 10 years ago?"
And for the first time, they attracted the attention of several people in the film industry, including noted actresses who came to her defence.
She told Radio 1 Newsbeat it was "really creepy because he had to put his hands all over me".
She added that after she walked off set to protest, she was called names like "unprofessional, crazy, drama queen, tantrum queen".

Paul Sinha, one of the professional quizzers on ITV's The Chase, has revealed he has Parkinson's disease.
"I will fight this with every breath I have," tweeted the 49-year-old comic, going on to share further details of his diagnosis in a blog post.
Sinha, a former GP, said he was told he had Parkinson's - a degenerative brain condition - last month.
He said it had been "a really, really tough two weeks" but said he did not "consider himself unlucky".
"Whatever the next stage of my life holds for me, many others have it far worse," he continued.
ITV said it was sending him "lots of love", while digital channel Dave told him to "give it hell".
Sinha said he intended to "keep Chasing, keep writing and performing comedy [and] keep quizzing" while joking that appearing on Dancing on Ice was probably "out of the question".
"A lot of people have asked 'What can I do to help?'" he concluded. "The answer is to treat me exactly the same as before."

A story about chickens trying to cross the road has outrun the competition at this year's 500 Words contest.
The judges felt Why Did the Chicken... was so finger lickin' good they made its author, Esme Harrison-Jones, gold winner in the 10 to 13 age category.
Snow Blood Window Frame, a modern spin on Snow White by Eve Molloy, was the gold winner in the 5 to 9 age category.
The competition, now in its ninth year, invites under-13s to write a story about any fictional topic.
The winning stories were revealed - and read out by celebrities - during a live broadcast from Windsor Castle on Friday.

The prosecutor of five teenagers convicted for the brutal rape of a female jogger in 1989 - depicted in Netflix's When They See Us - has left her job at at Columbia Law School.
Lawyer Elizabeth Lederer led the prosecution, but in Ava DuVernay's series she is seen expressing doubts about their guilt.
The boys, known as the Central Park Five, said police coerced them into confessing and were exonerated in 2002.

She is also a prosecutor in the Manhattan district attorney's office.
Gillian Lester, the dean of the school, said Ms Lederer wrote that the Netflix series had "reignited a painful - and vital - national conversation about race, identity, and criminal justice."
The New York Times said the email included a statement from Ms Lederer saying she had enjoyed her years teaching at Columbia but would not be returning.
She said: "Given the nature of the recent publicity generated by the Netflix portrayal of the Central Park case, it is best for me not to renew my teaching application."

When They See Us, a four-part mini-series, has proved hugely popular on Netflix, and in the US the series has been the streaming service's most-watched show since it debuted. In the UK it is the second-most watched after Black Mirror.
What happened in the Central Park Five case?
The victim, a white 28-year-old investment banker, was severely beaten, raped and left for dead in a bush. She had no memory of it.
Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam and Korey Wise - then aged between 14 and 16 - were arrested and interrogated for hours without access to lawyers or their parents.
They confessed to the crime but later recanted, saying their admissions were the result of police coercion.
The 1989 interrogation was conducted by another prosecutor and police.
The convictions were overturned in 2002 after a serial violent offender named Matias Reyes confessed to the attack and said he had acted alone.
She observed the teenagers' 1989 interrogation, which was conducted by another prosecutor and police. She was Manhattan's sexual crimes top prosecutor at the time, and has since maintained they were not coerced and defended the authorities' conduct.
When They See Us inspired a #CancelLindaFairstein movement on social media amid renewed outcry over her role in the case.
On 8 June, Ms Fairstein, who is now a crime novelist and children's author, was dropped by her publisher.
Two days later she wrote in the Wall Street Journal: "Ava DuVernay's miniseries wrongly portrays them as totally innocent - and defames me in the process."
But she added: "She is part of a system that's not broken, it was built to be this way... the real thing that we are all trying to do.. is to be able to say, 'Go America...Let's do this. Let's change this.'

Reuters spoke with Bill Murray and Chloe Sevigny, who portray police, and Tilda Swinton, who plays a mysterious funeral parlor worker, about the film’s albeit lighthearted environmentalism.
Below are edited excerpts.
TILDA SWINTON
Q: Why is environmentalism such a key theme here?
A: “It’s the landscape of the film, it very often is in zombie films ... (they) are a very useful kind of Trojan Horse to talk about society’s relationship with itself and the environment. But I would say it’s whatever anybody sees in it and this is a landscape that really concerns Jim and all of us.”
Q: What do you do personally to be environmentally friendly?
A: “I would like to fly a great deal less. I think we should all fly less anyway for about a million different reasons and not only to do with the effect of it on our planet but also on our bodies.”
BILL MURRAY
Q: What do you do to be environmentally friendly?
A: “I’m no hero but I tried to give up plastic bottles about three or four years ago. I think I’ve had about four since the situation arose, I either had to take medicine or something like that ... I realized I was drinking probably 100 plastic bottles of water a month. I thought, well, that’s 1,200 a year, at least. And that’s one person. So I gave up and stopped it and I find that glass bottle water tastes better.”
CHLOE SEVIGNY
Q: As someone associated with fashion, what do you do for the environment?
A: “I try not to use any single-use plastic and not use the dryer, take quick showers. It’s all the little things that one can do one hopes will accumulate in some way.
“Flying is always one of the worst and that’s unfortunately unavoidable in my line of work but I do compost in Manhattan and buy mostly recycled clothes. I’m trying to just not consume as much as maybe I have in the past and just try and spread that word to especially young girls. I’m somewhat of a fashion icon and I try encourage people to buy vintage or buy slightly used.”

When Toronto Raptors won the NBA Finals against Golden State Warriors last night, they weren't just celebrating a sporting success.
The Canadian basketball team had managed something perhaps more significant - killing the Drake curse.
The rapper has for years been taunted by sports fans for bringing "bad luck" to their teams.
Now the star has finally overseen a win, watching his favourite team become the first Canadians to win the NBA.
He's even bringing out two new songs - Omertá and Money In The Grave - to celebrate.
And people on social media are loving it.
Football squads have previously been banned from posting selfies with Drake and he's been blamed for big losses by Anthony Joshua, Serena Williams and Conor McGregor.
But it seems as though Drake's bad omen has finally been lifted.
British boxer Anthony Joshua was its last notable "victim", earlier this month, when he lost his heavyweight title fight.
But when Joshua met Drake in March, he was so confident of breaking the "curse" that he tweeted this photo.
The British boxer (who was 1-25 favourite to win) was beaten by Andy Ruiz Jr during their world heavyweight title fight in New York's Madison Square Garden.
But he'll probably want to make that return after hanging out with some different celebrity friends.
Sports fans on Twitter were quick to lay the blame on Drake - rather than the skills of Anthony's opponent.
Earlier this year, the Drake "curse" also struck for Paris Saint-Germain's Layvin Kurzawa, when the footballer posed for a photo with the Canadian star and then had his team lose their very next game.
PSG's spectacular 5-1 loss to Lille reignited suspicions that Drake, while obviously multi-talented, is a curse on every sports star he meets.
And AS Roma wanted nothing to do with it.
Obviously Roma were joking, but a number of clubs across England and Europe might be wishing they'd banned their players from posing for pictures with Drake.
And a fair number of footballers were among the thousands who flocked to see him perform.

Paul Pogba saw Drake perform at the Manchester Arena and got a picture taken with him - not long before Manchester United lost 2-1 to Wolves in the FA Cup.
It was a similar story for Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was at one of Drake's seven shows at the O2 in London.
After losing 1-0 to Everton the following weekend, plenty of Gooners will probably be wishing he'd never posed for a picture.
Sergio Aguero is another Premier League player people think Drake cursed.
He missed a penalty in the Champions League as Man City lost 1-0 to Tottenham in April, not long after he'd been photographed with Drake at a show.
And could the rapper also be to blame for Borussia Dortmund losing 5-0 to Bayern Munich, after hanging out with their English rising star Jadon Sancho? At this point, why not?
In a way, it kicked off with the team that seems to have finally broken the spell this week - the Toronto Raptors. He became a global ambassador for the basketball club in 2013, and can normally be seen cheering them on from the sidelines whenever they've got a big game.
Unfortunately though, until their win last night, the last six years have seen the Raptors develop a bit of a reputation for choking in those big games.
Luckily that's no longer the case.

In 2015 Serena Williams was trying to become the first woman to win all four tennis Grand Slams in a calendar year since Steffi Graf did it in 1988.
But 2015 was also the year that Drake was spotted watching a lot of her games.
Roberta Vinci was a 300-1 underdog when she faced Serena in the US Open - but we're pretty sure by now you can guess what the outcome of the match was.
And if you still need more evidence, last year Conor McGregor tapped out in the fourth round of his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Any guesses who he'd been hanging out with beforehand?
With so many infamous examples, it's unsurprising that Drake has got in on the joke.
Ahead of the game that decided who'd be playing in the most recent Super Bowl, Drake wore a jumper featuring the logos of all four teams that were in with a chance.
Two teams had to make it to the final, so surely that was the end of the curse?
What followed was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history - a curse in the eyes of everyone who watched it.
But maybe now the Toronto Raptors have taken the trophy home Drake will no longer be banned from hanging out with sports stars.
