Sarkodie is selfish;he ignored me when i called him for a feature-Patapaa reveals

The Inspector General of the Patupa Soldiers, Patapeezy has lamented on how some top artists neglect him when he calls them for a feature.

The rapper who is noted for doing 'stupid' and noisy songs in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Atuu indirectly revealed that celebrated rapper Sarkodie ignored him when he called him for a feature.

According to him, the artiste in question is selfish and looked down on him to even pick his call.

Patapaa is noted for doing senseless, useless and noisy songs so we are not surprised that Sarkodie and co refuse to pick his call for a collabo as it may tarnish his hard-earned brand.

Recall that Kuami Eugene stated that he can never feature Patapaa on his song because they are worlds apart in the music scene ie his style of music is way different than the Swedru-based JAMA leader.

Shatta Wale Deserves Artiste Of The Decade - Socrates Sarfo

With the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards some few days away, people have started predicting the winners for each category as well as the artiste themselves

Movie producer Socrates Sarfo has disclosed that Shatta Movement boss Shatta Wale no doubt deserves to be awarded as the “Artiste of the Decade” come Saturday 18th May, 2019.

Speaking to Peace FM’s entertainment review host,Kwesi Aboagye, the Director of Creative Arts, responsible for Programmes & Projects at the Commission for National Culture stated that the highly animated and energetic dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is his pick for the category of artiste of the decade – per the definition of the category – and not Sarkodie as many people think.

“I think that influential artist like Shatta Wale has been previously robbed of one key category which is the artist of the year. Per the definition of artiste of the year… if you look at the definition and relevance of the artists, Shatta stands poles apart from all the nominees there.”

Shatta Wale joins Sarkodie, Samini, Becca, Joe Mettle, and others to battle out for the “Artiste of the Decade”.

Sarkodie went home with a "SARDINE CAN' as he won nothing at the 3Music Awards

Most decorated Ghanaian artist, Michael Owusu Addo who is popularly known as Sarkodie didn't win any award at the just held 3Music Awards.

As expected, we all thought Sarkodie would swoop some awards at the 3Music awards held at the Fantasy Dome.

The rapper who was not at the event got a couple of nomination but virtually won nothing.

The CEO of Sarkcess Music got 5 nominations and won nothing.

The award scheme witnessed Shatta Wale swooping 8 awards with his arch-rival Stonebwoy winning just 3 awards.

We guess Sarkodie will win some awards at the upcoming VGMAs because going home with a 'sardine can' at an awards event is such an embarrassment for his brand.

Ghana is really in hardship- Sarkodie claims

Ghanaian celebrated rapper Sarkodie has taken a swipe at the current government.

According to the CEO of Sarkcess Music, the country is in hardship after the current government made several promises when they wanted to come into power desperately.

Sarkodie who is well noted for sharing his sentiments on social issues and issues concerning the country has been disappointed with the current 'snail pace' progression of the country.

The award-winning artiste took to his twitter handle to express his stance on the current hardship of Ghana.

He indicated that the country is so hot that people will sue you and try to make money out of you at the slightest provocation

The way town make hot, if you even cough the wrong way someone might sue you … Stay Woke.” He tweeted.

Recall that, most of the showbiz personalities supported the NPP spearheaded by Nana Akufo-Addo to come into power thinking he would turn things around but it seems the 'value is the same'.

Sarkodie, Yvonne Nelson and co seem to have been disappointed at the current government for not living up to expectation.
