A Ghanaian Pathologist, professor Agyeman Badu Akosa, has suggested to the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) to appoint dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale as sanitation ambassadors.
According to the former Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) the dancehall artistes can use their influence to educate the youth on the importance of good sanitation.
He asserted that, the massive followership of both artistes can be leveraged by the NCCE to fight filth.
Prof Akosa, who was speaking to pupils of the Nima Cluster of Schools, as part of the citizenship week celebration of the NCCE, said: “So, if you can imagine Shatta, Stonebwoy, two of them, and they are telling children of this country that: ‘Hey, if we can begin to package all the litter that we all produce, then this country will have a very clean environment. There’ll be no flies, there’ll be no germs, there’ll be no disease, the air will be clean and all of us will grow to become very responsible citizens’, so says Shatta Wale and so says Stonebwoy.
“So, Shatta Wale of the Shatta Movement and Stonebwoy of the Bhim Nation, they will be speaking to all you young people of this country, will that not be a good thing? I think the only person who can do that is Madam Josephine Nkrumah”.

BREAKING NEWS: President Nana Akufo-Addo Bans Dancehall Music In Ghana
The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has banned danchall music in Ghana today, June 8, 2019.
According to the information that massiveupdates.com is having, the president wasn't happy with the incident at the 20th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and has to ban the genre to prevent any future disaster.
Two great dancehall artistes in Ghana, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale who have finally smoked the piece wanted to tear each other part after Stonebwoy was announced as best dancehall artist.
This misunderstanding pushed Stonebwoy to pull a gun as self defense and that distracted the whole show.
After the incident the two rivals(Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale) have been united with the help of one Dr Kofi Abban and Nana Aba Anamoah but that couldn't convince president Nana Akufo-Addo so he has banned the danchall genre in Ghana until further notice.

New single from Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy titled "Shuga" which features Jamaican dancehall singer Beenie Man has hit 1 million views on YouTube.
The video is less than 2 months and it seems to doing well in the music market.
Stonebwoy took to his Instagram page to announce this good news to his fans.

Shut Up! You Started This - Angola Man With Big Mouth Warns Stonebwoy
After the Mortal Kombat Move in the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale and his brother Stonebwoy are back in the news again.
As usual, the two are yet to repent and obey the court order.
Just few days ago, Shatta Wale who won the Highlife song of the year as a Dancehall artist was seen mimicking how Stonebwoy walks.
This according to most Ghanaians is very odd because of the disability of Stonebwoy.
As usual, Ghanaians have heavily descended on Shatta Wale and roasted him. With nobody in sight to defend African's Dancehall King, Angola's man with the biggest mouth is here to lay his support for Shatta Wale.
In an interview with the man who could swallow a whole pot of fufu, He explained that most Ghanaians are hypocrites.
He revealed that Stonebwoy started all these after he insulted Shatta Wale and called him big mouth.

Ghanaian UK-based gospel singer Sonnie Badu has added his voice to the ongoing Charterhouse, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale saga.
The gospel singer is advising them to come together to push their music now that they have been stripped off their hard work.
According to him, the two are winners and they have proven that they know dancehall music.

They made them understand Nigeria Music must move forward and Today, they are buddies again … Fans will always play a part in who is better but once you’re united, those head crushers will disappear. Shatta Wale Said He Can't Stop Creating Controversies - Obour
The President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kufuor popularly known on stage as Obuor, says Shatta Wale’s extreme passion for controversies in his music carreer was the cause of last Sunday’s disturbances at the 20th edition of the VGMAs.
He says the Dancehall Artist, Shatta Wale once told him bluntly he cannot quit controversy, rivalry and the rest because that is what sells his music.
“We’ve invited them on countless occasion to intervene in the growing feud between them,especially Shatta Wale when he started these rivalry with Samini, Sarkodie and others. However for him, he’s made it clear that its part of his music besides he entered music to make money, so he cannot stop it. And you could see clearly that how Ghanaians have cheered him on amidst his controversies is giving him the energy to go on that angle in his music. And I’m sure nothing can stop him from needless controversies and rivalry.,” he told host Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM.
According to Obour, inasmuch as the two should be condemned for their actions, Shatta Wale ought to be blamed highly for the provocations that led to the chaos on the VGMA stage.
Both artistes spent the night in Police cells following their detention by the Accra Regional Police Command over the gun incident on the VGMA stage Sunday.
The programmed was marred by a brawl between the two musicians after Shatta Wale and his followers stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was declared as Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
Police say charges are yet to be preferred against the two since investigations are ongoing.

A picture of Shatta Wale’s face swollen going viral on social media after Stonebwoy’s manager gave him one blow on his face during a fight between the two dancehall musicians at the just ended VGMA.
Stonebwoy whiles receiving the ‘Dancehall Artiste of The Year’ had Shatta and his people storm the stage and only God knows what they went there to do.
However, Black Cedi Who is Stonebwoy’s manager in attempt to protect his artiste from Shatta and his people ended up picking a fight with them and as a result, landed a heavy blow on Shatta’s face.

Breaking News: Charterhouse Bans Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy From The VGMAs
Information reaching the desk of massiveupdates.com indicates that organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse has banned dancehall singers Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy from subsequent editions for messing up the 20th edition.
Yesternight at the new dome, the program has to come to a halt because Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
After Stonebwoy was adjudged best reggae and dancehall act and he was about to give his speech, his rival Shatta Wale and his boys followed him on the stage and that resulted in a fight among the two groups.
During the chaos, Stonebwoy was spotted with a pistol and police have to intervene before peace could prevail.
Due to this shameful act from these two musicians, the organizers have banned them from participating again in the award scheme.
