Paul Dogboe, father and manager of Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe has said that he will advice his son to quit boxing and go back to school.
This follows the humiliating second loss suffered at the hands of hard-hitting Mexcian, Emanuel Navarette in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday.
Paul Doggie has already been criticized for how badly the boxer was beaten and humiliated by Mexico’s Emanuel Navarrete in the WBO World super bantamweight belt rematch bout.
After it was clear round after round that Dogboe was not going to be match for Navarette, many started identifying Mr. Dogboe, who leads the team for Isaac’s corner as lacking strategy to get his son a win on the night.
Isaac was severely punished by his Mexican counterpart who seem to have had all right and easy going for him reaching the face of Dogboe at will.
From early bleeding and an early fall in the bout, many expected that Paul Dogboe was thrown in the towel to save his son from further embarrassment and brutality but that wasn’t the case until the 12th Round with about 52 seconds to end the bout.
That was when Paul Dogboe threw in the the towel, by then his son had gone down again and was visibly weak and lacked stamina to continue the encounter.
