Tristan Thompson is being accused of 'bribing' ex Jordan Craig to not date other men after their break up, even though he was dating Khloe Kardashian.
Though he'd already moved on to another woman, the NBA employed loverat reportedly shelled out $112k dollars to ensure his first baby mama didn't get involved with anyone else, according to RadarOnline.com.
According to the court documents Craig, 27, told Thompson's attorney that the money, which was given to her after the purchase of her LA home in 2017, was to ensure that she wasn't 'dating anybody or talking to anybody.'
The deposition was in regards to Craig's suit again Thompson for child support for their son Prince, who was born a full four months after the basketball played publicly began dating Kardashian.
Describing the six-figure payment as 'a bribe' during a January 2019 deposition, Craig told Thompson's lawyer Peter Lauzon that money meant '[Thompson] would help me if I wasn't, like, dating anybody or talking to anybody, and that I would have to come see him.'
Pressed if she took the 'bribe' or not, Craig admitted she accepted the money for the sake of their son, Prince. She also said part of the sum went to her family for loans used to finance her LA home.
Responding to Jordan's claims, Tristan contended that 'No one ever said about not see or date anyone.'
But seeming to muddy the waters, he continued, telling attorneys: 'All I please said is, if you’re a single woman, I wanted to request her not to have random men around my child.'
